How many miles on your Ford Escort

I made it possible to enter more than one vote since many of you may be like me and own more than 1 Escort.  I actually own 4 Escorts, but was only able to apply 3 votes since 2 of them fall in the same catagory.  My '88 Pony has 508K, the 88 GL has 81K, the '97 LX wagon has 25K and the '02 SE has 100K.

scort1 has 213k and scort2 has 87k.  congrats on making it more than 500k.... ..whats the secret?

I guess the secret is making repairs when needed and keeping the fluids full and clean.  I've also used a quart of Slick 50 or similar product in it every 50,000 miles since it had about 150,000 miles, plus I don't run it extremely hard.  I'm not saying I don't drive it fast sometimes, but I don't run it to the red line every gear change either.

Deathscort has about 110k, and Goblin has right at 200k miles on the trans, and body, no idea on the replacement engine.

my 3rd gen's body has 139,000 my current motor has 35k  when im done with it it will have 0 on it.
