Piper's 2000 ZX2 S/R

Pipers 2000 ZX2 S/R build.





Fixed:

Replaced the alternator.

Replaced the spark plugs

Replaced the valve cover gasket.

Replaced the timing belt, idler and tensioner pullieys,

Current mods:

17 inch white rims.

Installed a Esslinger UDP.



Installed an OBX stainless steel header.

Ford Racing 9mm Red ignition wires.



21mm rear sway bar with new urethane sway bar bushings and enflinks for front and back.

Energy suspension engine mount inserts.

Upcoming mods:

SCT Chip (ordered)

True Bends 2.5 exhaust system with Borla Muffler. (arrived)

New high compression N/A engine....currently being built

Right on, you'll have about the same kind of mods as my DD did and the same ones, lol.
I think later on you'll want a better header; Replicating the design might actually be a good thing but with larger primaries. The collector is small; like 2" IIRC. I'd go with a collector that matches your exhaust flange.

The Kamikaze header has a 2.5" collector, but it has only 1 3/4" primaries.
The OBX has 1 1/2" primaries if I remember correctly.
The primaries are the four tubes that come from the header flange, and the collector is the flange where they all collect into one piece.

maybe when the new motor is ready to go ill talk to jj about finding a place that can make one then so i get the larger primaries like my obx and the 2 1/2"  collector

Why not just modify your collector to be 2.5 inches?
